I’ve been doing this work for about a dozen years. Not because I am a naturally patient, calm person!

Nope, quite the opposite!

I actually became a meditation teacher after totally burning out in Big Law.

So I quit being a corporate lawyer & came to this practice as a way to solve my own stress problem.

And well, I’m still working on it … 🧘‍♀️

  3. and behind the paywall, puppies — I’ll put a guided mediation (5-10 minutes) that you can practice, wherever and however. Even if you’re the most stressed out person in the world with no time to spare who is terrible at meditation — I got you. I made this for you ;)

For over a decade, I’ve gathered people up IRL and virtual circles of meditation, of paying attention, of presence and connection.

My promise to you?

I will try to keep it REAL always. Share the lessons I’m still learning and relearning. Direct insights from my own meditation practice (and “applied meditation practice” where I attempt to apply these practices of presence to the own real life wild of my life and NOT scream at my kids, beat myself up over my own humanity, etc. etc. etc.).

I’m hoping to offer some grace to all of us here in this space. (Grace = not being so hard on myself (or others) for a minute!).

If I ever revert to my hard-wired, old stories of people pleasing and trying to impress you (like if I start quoting research stats on why all law firms should have required in-house mindfulness trainings or pretend I have it all figured out) — please call me out.

Let’s just be ourselves here.
