hello there, my dears.
I’m technically “off” from Substack this summer.
But the world is crazy right now, and I got the blessing of a free, open day to putter a bit. And recover from a really busy work weekend, catch my breath before summer vacation begins for my kid in a few days, catch up with some friends and on some writing for my book. To be “idle and blessed.”
This feels like a half-way-silly-thing-to-admit, but also kind of awesome: part of my book writing includes me going back and listening to old podcast episodes of mine, because there are some gems in there that I want to shine up for the book.
So today, I listened to this episode called “Is Parenting Stress Ruining Anyone Else’s Marriage? Asking for a Friend” and oh my gosh, I was just thinking about all the stressed out parents I know right now. And then all of the stressed out humans in the world right now. Because even though this episode enters the convo of stress through the door of parenthood, it’s really for any of us.
So, I thought I’d reshare this episode. In case there’s a moment of exhale for you in here too.
Have a listen. Pass it along if you know anyone it might be useful for. And leave a comment below to say hi 👋
Sending grace + peace,
Cath
"Is Parenting Stress Ruining Anyone Else's Marriage? Asking for a Friend."
I've got to be honest -- the question in the title of this episode is my own -- which makes this episode my scariest one yet to share 😳
