Cue: summer mode.
Oh my goodness, my dears.
In the middle of last long, holiday weekend, I realized my Substack post wasn’t tee’ed up.
I simultaneously realized since that since last Monday was Memorial Day, not many of you would notice your Monday Morning Meditation wasn’t sitting in your inbox when you woke up.
So I carried on and set my sights on this Monday. Today.
I also realized — despite the weather — it’s officially summer mode.
And for me, this year, I am DEEPLY committed to not missing it. To not popping my head up in late July thinking, “oh crap, I forgot to slow down and play more!”
In fact, this late July I’m turning 40 (!), which, to me, makes it all the more precious that I set my summer pace and give myself the grace early on.
(Take that as your invitation to, as well).
And then I made a summer bucket list and Substack was nowhere on it.
So, my dears, we’re going on a summer break here. (Paid subbies, I’ll put your charges on pause, so you’re not getting billed while I’m away. Thank you SO much for your support and coffee money!).
I may pop in here. I may not. I’d rather surprise and delight, then overextend myself and disappoint.
I’ll be working on my book (PATIENCE is my current mantra, hence today’s practice). Here’s the waitlist - so you don’t miss what’s next. SQUEEEE!
Doing the good work at Village Yoga (come find me there in person or online!).
Adjusting to summer camp hours — 9am to 3pm, baby!
Adventuring, being present, moving with ease, laughing, eating outside, going to the beach and the mountains, hopefully harvesting a veggie or two from my garden, shopping local from my farmers, eating ice cream, staying up too late, catching as many sunrises as I can, playing, leaping, hiking, sitting with a book and my pages.
Oh, and turning 40! 💃
See you when I see you & thank you SO much for simply BEing here,
Cath xo
